Rules

These rules are in place to ensure a fun, immersive, and respectful roleplaying environment for all players. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in administrative action, up to and including a permanent ban.

General Conduct & Roleplay Etiquette

1.1 Respectful Interaction

• Treat all players with respect, regardless of their roleplay choices, OOC (Out of Character) identity, or experience level.

• Disagreements should be handled maturely and respectfully. Avoid OOC toxicity, insults, or personal personal attacks in all forms of communication (in-game chat, Discord, etc.).

1.2 Age and Maturity

• Due to the mature content of this chosen platform and game, we do require members to be 18 years of age, and have a certain level of maturity.

1.3 No Random Deathmatch (RDM)

• RDM is defined as killing or attempting to kill another player without any prior roleplay interaction or valid in-character reason.

• All combat scenarios must be initiated with clear roleplay intent and escalation. Examples of invalid reasons include boredom, griefing, or simply wanting to kill another player.

1.4 - A. No Metagaming

• Metagaming is using OOC information to gain an in-character advantage.

• This includes, but is not limited to, using information from streams, Discord, OOC chat, or knowing a player's OOC identity identity to influence your character's actions. Your character should only know what they have learned through in-game roleplay.

1.4 - B. OOC/IC info

• In line with metagaming, OOC and IC info should not be mixed to keep the immersion and help tell the stories people want to portray or stream.

• If you cannot figure out an action or how to use an item in game, try your best to ask someone in game and in-character. I.E. If you can figure out how to use the water spout in town and you see someone walking by ask them "Hey would you mind helping me out? I'm not really sure what muscle to use to get some water" and they should reply something to the effect of "Sure, just use your E muscle" (press the E key to get the water). If you ask in OOC chats, be aware people probably won't give you a direct answer unless it's a known issue, they may give you hints where to look or send you on the right path.

1.5 No Harassment

• Harassment, in any form, is strictly prohibited. This includes persistent unwanted attention, intimidation. bullying, or any behavior intended to distress or annoy another player OOC.

• If you feel you are being harassed, please report it to the administrative team with evidence.

1.6 Valuing Your Life

• Your character should always value their life. Do not engage in reckless or suicidal actions without a clear in-character motivation that reflects self-preservation.

• This includes deliberately putting your character in harm's way without reasonable fear of consequences.

1.6 - A. Powergaming

Powergaming is forcing roleplay upon another player without giving them a chance to react or roleplay accordingly. This includes actions that are unrealistic or give your character an unfair advantage.

• Examples include declaring someone dead without allowing them to be downed or interact, or performing some impossible feats without justification.

• Forcing Outcomes: Dictating another player's actions or reactions (e.g., "You trip and fall," "You are scared and run away").

• You may NOT force another character to forget an entire day, a specific event, or anything beyond the designated "injury memory loss" rule (see 1.8 New Life). For example, shooting someone in the head does not give you the right to declare they "forget everything that happened yesterday" or "don't remember you."

1.6. - B. Perma Death

• Perma-death for a character can only be decided by the player of that character or by staff as an administrative action or punishment. If you choose for your character to perma you must open a staff ticket in Discord to notify us. This will allow us to properly delete the character from the server.

1.7 FailRP

• FailRP is defined as your character performing actions not true to life, I.E. Falling off of a cliff, and although in game you barely lose health, you still get up and immediately start running. Make an effort to accurately portray injuries and actions.

1.8 New Life / Memory Loss

Memory Loss Protocol: If your character enters a "player down" or flat-backed state and is *NOT* immediately revived by another player through in-character medical attention (e.g., a medic, doctor, or trained civilian using appropriate medical supplies or taking you to medical facility), or if they are "respawned" via server mechanics i.e. wake up at a hospital, your character must roleplay forgetting the last 30 minutes of in-game events leading leading up too their their incapacitation/flat backed status.

• Exceptions: This memory loss does not apply if your character is successfully revived on-scene by another player performing active medical roleplay, or taking you to a medical facility. In such cases, your character may retain memory of the to actions leading to flat-back (not anything occurring around you while down), but must still roleplay the pain, trauma, and lingering effects of their injuries. The memories you regain from doctor or friend revival are only PRIOR to flat back status.

• This rule encourages proper medical roleplay and prevents players from using server mechanics to gain an unfair advantage (e.g., "dying" to escape a situation and immediately returning with full knowledge). It ensures that critical injuries have meaningful in-character consequences beyond just a brief inconvenience.

1.9 Real Estate Purchases in server

• Purchases will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

• To purchase any house or business in the server, players must open a real estate ticket in our Discord server. All purchases will be handled on a strict first-come, first-served basis according to the timestamp of your Discord ticket.

• *Failure to comply with this rule and acquire property through the proper Discord ticketing channel may result in your house or business being repossessed if another player follows the correct procedure for that property.

1.10 Criminal Actions

• Criminal actions (theft, robbery, assault on adult characters, etc.) are permitted only when initiated with proper roleplay and a clear narrative purpose.

• These actions must adhere to all other server rules, particularly those regarding RDM and Powergaming.

• Players engaging in criminal roleplay should be prepared for the in-character consequences of their actions (e.g., law enforcement response).

1.11 Assault on Child Pedestrian Models

• Any form of assault, harm, or explicit explicit criminal criminal action directed towards the child pedestrian models within the game is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, shooting, beating, kidnapping, or any other violent acts.

• Violation of this rule will result in an immediate ban. These models are not to be used for any form of harmful or exploitative roleplay.

2.0 Prohibited Roleplay Actions (Instant Ban Offenses)

The following actions are strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate and permanent ban from the server with no exceptions. These actions are considered highly offensive and damaging to the community.

2.1 Racism

• Any form of racist language, slurs, symbols, or roleplay scenarios. This includes both OOC and IC (in-character) expressions.

2.2 Sexism

• Any form of sexist language, slurs, or roleplay scenarios. This includes both OOC and IC expressions.

2.3 Slavery Roleplay

• Any roleplay scenario involving slavery, servitude, or the ownership of other player characters. Even with the political climate during the time period, that is not something we will be doing here.

2.4 Sexual Harassment or General Harassment

• Any form of sexual harassment, including unwanted sexual advances, comments, or sexually explicit content directed at another player or their character.

2.5 Derogatory Language

The use of any highly offensive, hateful, or derogatory language, including but not limited to hate speech, slurs, or epithets targeting real-world groups or individuals.

3.0 Administrative Actions

3.1 Reporting Violations

• If you witness a rule violation, please report it to the administrative team via the designated channels (e.g., Discord ticket, in-game report system).
• Provide as much evidence as possible b (screenshots, video recordings, timestamps, player IDs).

3.2 Administrative Discretion

• The administrative team reserves the right to interpret and enforce these rules at their sole discretion.

• Decisions made by administrators are final. Repeated minor infractions may lead to more severe penalties.

4.0 Staff Contact and issues.

• There are some situations in which you may have to contact staff, such as making reports of offenses. In such cases finish the scene, then contact staff either in game reporting or open a ticket. Recordings or screenshots are always appreciated to back up the staff team

4.1 Crashes or "Headaches"

• In other cases staff and other players may need to be contacted outside of RedM in such cases as a game or computer crash, we just ask if you were in the middle of a scene or RP you reach out to try and finish the scene or contact so we know you did not combat log.

and TBX Shop ("Seller") governing your purchase of any TBX-branded item, product, or service

affirms that any payment instrument used is theirs to authorize.

expressly required by applicable consumer protection laws.
➤ 4.2 Digital and One-Time Use Items
> Digital downloads, event passes, one-time use codes, and in-game consumables are deemed
fulfilled and delivered immediately upon purchase and are strictly non-refundable.
> 4.3 Bans and Account Actions
If the Customer is banned or otherwise restricted from Tears of the Past RP for any violation of
server rules, no refunds will be issued. Such bans or restrictions are the sole responsibility of the
Customer and do not constitute grounds for a refund.
5. Delivery and Fulfillment
> 5.1 Digital Delivery

➤ Physical Items will be shipped to the address provided by the Customer. Delivery times are
estimates only; TBX Shop is not liable for delays caused by carriers or customs processes.
➤ 6. Customer Representations & Warranties
> By completing a Purchase, the Customer represents and warrants that:
➤ They are at least 18 years old (or of legal age in their jurisdiction) and legally capable of entering
into this Agreement;
➤ They have the authority to use the payment method provided;
➤ The information provided during purchase (name, email, shipping address, etc.) is accurate and
complete.
➤ 7. Intellectual Property
➤ All trademarks, logos, designs, and content related to TBX Shop and its Items remain the exclusive
property of TBX Shop or its licensors. The Customer acquires only the right to use the Items as specified herein and does not obtain any ownership rights.
➤ 8. Limitation of Liability
> To the maximum extent permitted by law, TBX Shop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental,
special, or consequential damages arising from or related to the purchase, use, or inability to use any
Item, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
➤ 9. Indemnification
➤ The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TBX Shop and its officers, directors,
employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or
expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
> The Customer's breach of this Agreement;
➤ The Customer's misuse of any Item;
➤ Any allegation that an Item infringes a third party's intellectual property or proprietary rights.

10. Modifications to This Agreement
TBX Shop reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace any part of this Agreement
at any time without prior notice. Changes become effective immediately upon posting. Your continued
purchase or use of Items after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
➤ 11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
➤ This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction
in which TBX Shop is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or relating to this Agreement shall be resolved exclusively by the competent courts of that
jurisdiction.
> By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all
terms and conditions of this TBX Purchase Agreement.

5.1 Rule Updates
